Plot
GONE is a post-apocalyptic tragedy following two teenage girls as they navigate loss and trauma while their different pasts lead to conflicting ideas about the future. When resources run out, the girls are left with no choice but to leave their secluded hideaway in search of other people. Driven by the hope of finding her missing mother, our more positive protagonist battles with the doubt and aggressive pessimism of her best friend who is plagued by the pain of having lost everything and constant fear of losing even more. Is survival worth the struggle in a world not worth saving?
