Luis "Lucho" Cáceres is an actor with a distinguished career in theater, film, and television. He began his stage career with "En algún lugar del corazón" (1994) and "La pareja dispareja" (1995), both directed by the late actor and director Tito Salas. He studied acting with Alberto Isola and Edgar Saba. His portrayals of Kike in the series "Mil oficios" (2001) and Cobra in "La Gran Sangre" (2006) are fondly remembered. Since then, he has appeared in television series and telenovelas such as "Así es la vida" (2004), "Néctar en el cielo" (2007), "Los Jotitas" (2008), "Matadoras" (2010), "La Tayson, corazón rebelde" (2012), "El regreso de Lucas" (2016), and "El día de mi suerte" (2019). In film, he has distinguished himself with highly realistic performances in films such as Dark Sky (2009), The Gospel of the Flesh (2012), NN (2013), The Last Afternoon (2016), and more recently, The Most Feared Skin (2021), which received considerable media attention. In theater, he is remembered for his recent roles in It Never Rains in Lima (2015), The President's Blood (2016), Victors' Step (2022), Burning the Forest with You Inside (2023), Hope (2023), and The Solar System (2024). He won the Best Actor award at the Lima Film Festival for the film The Last Afternoon.
